The Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu has emphasized the extensive political experience of former President John Dramani Mahama at the launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 election campaign. The event, held at the Jubilee Park in Tamale, attracted a large crowd of enthusiastic NDC supporters.
Before introducing Mr Mahama, who officially launched the campaign, MP Iddrisu praised the former president’s credentials, stating, “Former President Mahama is coming into government with experience and not to experiment.” He elaborated on Mahama’s impressive political background, noting that he has served as a Member of Parliament, a Vice President, an Acting President, and a President.
“These enviable credentials are matchless,” Iddrisu said, adding that Ghanaians can be confident that Mahama will govern with vigour, compassion, and sound judgment if elected in the upcoming December 7, 2024, general elections.
