Former Deputy Energy Minister, Mr. K.T Hammond says it is time Government clears all debts owed the Electricity Company of Ghana to enable it to get on its feet.
He also encouraged the ECG to embark on measures to enhance its profitability.
Mr. K.T Hammond was speaking to GBC News.
In a related development, a Member of the Energy Committee, Mr. John Jinapor has also advised government against its intention to involve the private sector in the running of ECG.
