The president of the Board of the Africa Center in New York Halima Dangote has been appointed as the Executive Director for the Commercial Operations of Dangote Industries Limited. The leading company in Africa.
She is an active member in Women Corporate directors and a board member of Endeavour Nigeria.
Halima Aliko Dangote has been with the Organization for the past five years. She has held numerous positions in the Business Unit. She is a trust member of the Aliko Dangote Foundation due to her philanthropic activities. The information was disclose by the Company.
In her recent position, Halima was the Executive Director of Dangote Flour Mills. In her succession she improves the profit outcome of the business from failure to success.
The current Executive Director was working with Nascon a salt, seasoning and other related manufacturing products. Halima continue to serve as the Non-Executive Director of Nascon.
Halima has 12 years of experience and has held numerous executive roles in the Organization.
With her new role, she will be responsible for leading the implementation and implementation of the Dangote Group.
It her responsibility to improve customer relationship management and increase long term customer value according to the Dangote Group.
She will be responsible for the implementation of the Company’s shared services. In the field of; Commercial, Strategic procurement, Administration, Branding and Communication.
Halima is a great support for women empowerment.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in Marketing from the American Intercontinental University and Masters Degree in Business Administration from Webster Business School in London, United Kingdom.
Halima attended other leadership development programmes including: The programme for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School, Executive Development Programme at Kellogg School of Management, Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Executive at Columbia Business School.
