The National Democratic Congress’ flag bearer and former president of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has accepted an apology from the management of the Multimedia Group signed by the Programmes Director of Asempa FM, Mr Sammy Yirenkyi and Mr A.C. Ohene, the Head of News and Current Affairs.
Mr. John Dramani Mahama via his official twitter account accepted the apology from the management of the multimedia Group on behalf of the host of the ‘Kanawu’ show Nana Akua Acheampomaa Sarfo-Adu.
“Nana Akua, while presenting one of our shows, dubbed Kanawu used words that were unpleasant to your person.”
“As a result, the Management of the station wishes to unreservedly apologise to you on its own behalf and on behalf of the presenter, Nana Akua Acheampomaa Sarfo-Adu” they stated.
“Please be assured that we have taken all the internal measures necessary to prevent this unfortunate incident from recurring.”
