God’s Garden Ministries at Sokode, near Ho, has held an end of year party for inmates of the Ho Central Prisons.
The gesture was with support from the Evangelism Team of the Church to reach out to the less privileged.
Bishop Alfred MacLander Bansah, Founder of the Church, said Christianity was about giving and sharing with the poor and stated the resolve of the Ministry to reach the less privileged in the streets and hospitals.
Mr MacBillions Dickson Bansah, President of the Evangelism Team, said festive seasons were the right periods for sharing food and the word of God to win souls.
He asked Christians to give meaning to Christmas by showing love to all.
Assistant Director of Prisons, Mr Martin Darku, Deputy Commander, Ho Central Prisons, commended the Church for remembering the less privileged in society and urged it to keep up the good work.
The inmates were given packed rice with drinks and danced all afternoon in appreciation of the gesture.
