Proper editing of captured images to suit the intended concept and idea is one of the things that go into the planning before going on location for the shoot.

Steps
Make a duplicate of the background layer (ctrl + j)
Invert it (ctrl + I)
Change the blend mood from normal to vivid light
Go to filter – other – high pass
Set the value to 24
Go to filter – click blur – select Gaussian blur
Keep the value around 3 and 4 and click ok
Now the skin is smooth but the problem is the skin smooth is been applied to all over the image and it doesn’t look right
Now press and hold the ALT option and create a negative mask
Select the brush and make sure the foreground color is white if it’s not press D
Start painting over the skin, don’t paint the areas that are supposed to be sharp like the eye, beneath of the nostrils and any highlights areas and stay away from the lips
When the steps is followed you should have a neatly edited image.
