Hours after the announcement of the historic independence match tickets by the organisers of the match, Proball International Limited, supporters of both participating teams, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante kotoko have ordered tickets in a voluminous manner to the dismay of the official in charge.

Organisers say they are so far happy with the way fans are putting in requests to get their match day tickets booked ahead of time to avoid any difficulties in terms of shortage.

According to some citizens and supporters as well as the African community in the city of Bath, they are in a hurry to get their match tickets on time to avoid any ‘last minute’ struggles.

According to them, they want to be part of Ghana’s 63rd independence anniversary match on the soil of the colonial masters. Bath is the largest city in the county of Somerset, England, known for and named after its Roman-built baths. In 2011, the population was 88,859. Bath is in the valley of the River Avon, 97 miles (156 km) west of London and 11 miles (18 km) southeast of Bristol. The city became a World Heritage site in 1987.

Other supporters around the areas of Barnet Gate, Barnehurst, Wood Green and Chipping Barnet or High Barnet are all geared up for the big game on March 7 at the Barneth stadium.

Ticket prices for the historic encounter at the Barnet Stadium range from £20, £25, £30, £40 and £45.

Further assurance has also been given by Mr. Samson Deen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of African Origin Travels that the secured 1,000 match tickets to be sold include a package trip to WhiteHart Lane, Emirates Stadium and Wembley Stadium for sightseeing.

As the stage is set for the game, will Accra Hearts of Oak redeem themselves from the recent defeats by their bitters rivals or will Kumasi Asante Kotoko extend dominance and the winning streak in London as the game is expected to be watched by more than 200 FIFA and UEFA players and football agents.

The match will be shown live on GTV and GTV Sports + and Obonu TV and also live on all GBC Regional Radio stations powered by UNIIQ FM 95.7 MHz.
