Governance Expert Dr. Eric Oduro Osae, says the independence of the Ghana sixty-three years down the line has been more of political than economic.

He said, to achieve total independence there is the need to support President Akufo-Addo’s initiative of Ghana Beyond Aid.

Dr. Oduro also called for the passage of a Legislative Instrument (LI) to back the rotation of the independence Day Parade, as it has an economic impact on the country.

Dr. Oduro Osae said this in an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana in Accra.

Dr. Oduro Osae, said the Independence Day Celebration must be a time to reflect on contributions to the country, as well as a time to rekindle patriotism among Ghanaians.
