The third edition of the Presidential Pitch, an initiative of the Ministry of Business Development has been launched in Accra with a call on the youth between the ages of 18 and 35 to apply.
The Presidential Pitch seeks to support budding entrepreneurs with business ideas with funds to implement them.
One million cedis has been allocated for the winner of this year’s competition.
The Minister of Business Development, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal who launched the programme said it is expected to create about 250 jobs for the youth.
He said prospective applicants have only eight days to apply. Dr. Awal said the climax of the competition will be on July 1.
