In Vitro fertilization (IVF) is not an unknown process to many. But not too long ago, it was a mysterious procedure which produced what was then known as “test-tube babies.
IVF is a complex and expensive procedure which makes only a few couples who are unable to have a baby on their own, try that as an option.
However, since its introduction in 1981, IVF and other similar techniques have resulted in more than 200,000 babies across the continent.
However, it is not every childless couple that can afford the procedure. Should this be the case?
