President Akufo-Addo Monday, July 27, commissioned the Yapei Water Project in the Savannah Region as part of his three-day tour of the Northern, North–East and Savannah regions.
The Yapei Water Supply System will serve 11,443 people, and has been constructed at a cost of ¢5,665,966.42.
The visit will afford the President the opportunity to inspect progress of work some on ongoing projects, commission completed ones and cut the sod for the commencement of others.
He will also interact with some chiefs and people in these regions and return to Accra on Thursday, July 30.
