President Akufo-Addo has appealed to Ghanaians and voters at the December polls to renew his mandate for another four years.

He said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is committed to taking the promises in its newly launched 2020 manifesto seriously, describing the manifesto as a solemn social contract between the electorate and the elected.

Speaking at the launch at Cape Coast, the President took a swipe at the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama for promising to continue the free Senior High School (SHS) policy.

President Akufo-Addo said former President Mahama has zero credibility when it comes to the implementation of policies.

Therefore, he cannot be trusted to sustain the free SHS policy.

President Akufo-Addo asked Ghanaians not to believe in the sugarcoated promises of the NDC flag bearer, especially in the business environment, because the NDC took Ghanaians for granted for 8 years and could not deliver.
