Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Nyamah, has emphasised that President Akufo-Addo will not debate the NDC Presidential Candidate if the former President does not account for infrastructure projects under his stewardship.
Making his submission on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, ‘Focus’, which discussed the NPP’s 2020 Manifesto, Mr. Nyamah admitted some anomalies regarding the delivery tracker where some projects were mistakenly recorded at different locations making it seem like they do not exist.
A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team, Abraham Amaliba said the call for the presidential debate is as result of the huge sums of money borrowed by this Government with very little to show for it.
Mr. Amaliba claims the NPP 2020 Manifesto is hollow because it failed to allot time lines to the projects envisaged.
He raised concerns about the educational policy of the government but lauded the review of the current Students Loan Scheme where tertiary students need guarantors.
He questioned the payments of such loans by student who after completion become self-employed.
