Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says lack of prudent management of the economy by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration accounted for the failure to implement the free senior high education, as well as the restoration of nurses and teacher trainee allowances.
He said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) within the first year in office introduced all these policies because of competent management of the economy to ensure fair distribution of national resources irrespective of social, religious and education background.
The Vice President therefore asked Ghanaians, to renew NPP’s mandate in the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections as a vote for the NDC would reverse all these laudable policies to the detriment of ordinary Ghanaian.
Dr. Bawumia was speaking at separate durbars to inaugurate development projects at Offinso North, Afigya Kwabre South, Suame and Asawase constituencies to end a four day working tour of the Ashanti region.
At Afrancho, the Vice President inspected an 11 kilometer town roads, and the ongoing NHIA offices scheduled for completion in December.
Boys and Girls dormitories, staff and classroom blocks were also inaugurated at the Nkenkasu Senior High School.
