Some political parties who made it to the 2020 polls have been reacting to their placement on the ballot paper after the Electoral Commission  EC conducted balloting for the parties yesterday (October 20, 2020).

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) who took the number one position on the ballot sheet believes the number is a destined one.

General Secretary of Party, John Boadu said the NPP’s first position on the ballot paper reinforces its campaign message for the 2020 general election.

He said the NPP’s position is paramount as it signifies the party’s achievements chalked up since taking over the helm of affairs.

Meanwhile, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) believes the party’s second position on the ballot paper signifies former President John Dramani Mahama’s return to power.

Communication Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi in a tweet said the party’s position on the ballot is a good omen for their presidential candidate, John Mahama.

He said the NPP’s first slot on the ballot also means that President Nana Akufo-Addo is destined for just one term.
