The UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General for West Africa and the Sahel, Dr. Mohammed Ibn Chambas has added his voice to calls for credible, inclusive and peaceful elections in Ghana.
Launching an Election Voter Advocacy Project by the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons in Accra dubbed “Ballots Without Bullets”, he called on all stakeholders especially Political Parties and their supporters, to make use of the valuable existing mechanisms for dialogue and dispute resolution to bridge differences and minimize the potential for violence.
