Former President John Dramani Mahama has completed his five-day campaign tour of the Northern Region to meet and interact with the party’s delegates in the constituencies.
The former President, an experienced and committed leader who has dedicated his life to serving the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the people of Ghana, is seeking the mandate of the party’s delegates to lead the NDC to victory in the 2020 elections.
Mr. Mahama, who has received overwhelming endorsement from the various wings and levels of the party, has since arrived Wa in the Upper West Region to continue his #GO4JM campaign.
Reminding delegates to the December congress that the NDC must remain united behind a leader all supporters of the party believe in, former President Mahama says the party needs “a leader who knows what it takes not only to lead a campaign, but to lead a nation”, and that leader is him, John Dramani Mahama.
He has also noted, regrettably, that “all the roads we were working on has come to a standstill, all the e-Block Community Day Senior High Schools have come to a standstill, the hospitals and CHPS compounds we were building across the country are standstill, and it is the same with the electricity and water projects that were embarked upon to extend power to communities and safe drinking water.”
Mr. Mahama has been pledging to work hard to provide jobs as well as reduce the high cost of living and the general economic hardship in the country.
