NDC Presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama has once again sought the support of Entrepreneurs and business leaders in the lead up to the polls.
He reiterated his call to transform the economy when given the nod come December 7.
Speaking during an evening encounter with young Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs in Accra, Mr. Mahama said the NDC’s quest to provide 250, 000 jobs every year making one million jobs for four years can only be possible if Business leaders and entrepreneurs come on board.
Mr. Mahama will today commence a four-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region. He will address the chiefs and people, including Zongo chiefs and imams, in a number of constituencies during the tour.
Mr. Mahama, who will focus on key policies and promises in the People’s Manifesto, will also meet and interact with farmers, traders, Okada riders, artisans and drivers.
In particular, he will highlight plans in the NDC’s manifesto to create jobs, ensure universal access to healthcare through the Free Primary Healthcare policy and his plan to implement Free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (Free T-VET) and his party’s proposed state-sponsored National Apprenticeship Programme, which seeks to empower the youth with employable skills.
