The Graphic charges Ghanaians to use his passing to revisit the spirit of self-help, probity and accountability that he, through his actions and deeds, inculcated in the people. The Paper sends its condolences to the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, as well as the children and extended family.
The Ghanaian Times for its part says Former President Rawlings played his role in the way he deemed best. The Paper praises the Former President’s values of probity , accountability and transparency. The Times says Ghana has lost a gem and extends its sympathies to the family, especially his wife, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, and his four children, including the Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle Constituency, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings.
