COVID lockdown: Research by Childs Right International reveals Distant Learning Platforms not effective.

More than 80 percent of students in Basic Schools, say the Distant Learning Platforms introduced to facilitate teaching and learning as a result of COVID-19, has NOT been effective.

This is contained in a research conducted by the Child’s Right International to assess the impact of COVID-19 on children.

The report also reveals that more than two thousand children under 18, have contracted coronavirus.

Executive Director of Child’s Right International, Bright Appiah, appealed to Government to introduce the application of technology in teaching and learning at the Basic Level to ensure familiarity for effective use.
