Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is optimistic that former President John Dramani Mahama will always be beaten in terms of records and performance.

He said President Akufo-Addo in his first term in office has outperformed the erstwhile administration that was in charge of the affairs of the country for eight years.

Speaking at the commissioning of the first-ever Nursing Training College at Nkanchina in the Kpandai District of the Northern Region, Dr Bawumia challenged the NDC and Mr. Mahama to point out projects they have embarked on in the area that are superior to that of the NPP.

Vice President Bawumia said the inauguration of the Nursing Training College is a testament of the hard work of President Akufo-Addo and MP for the area. He said many projects are being undertaken under the Akufo-Addo-led administration as he has proven his supremacy over the previous.

According to the Vice President, the NPP government is committed to providing tertiary institutions in the country to enable beneficiaries of the free Senior High School to further their education in their chosen careers.

As such, he appealed to residents of Kpandai to maintain the NPP in the 2020 polls as that remains the only alternative to better develop the country, citing the achievements chalked up following the various pro-poor policies and interventions.

The Chiefs and People of Nawuri and Nchumuru Traditional Areas have hailed President Akufo-Addo for honouring his campaign promises to them. They expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the NPP government for not denying the Kpandai District their share of the national cake.

The people however appealed to the President to help elevate the Nawuiwura and Nanjuwura stools into paramountcy indicating that the process has already started.
