The Daily Graphic appeals to the Ministry of Communications to develop a digital archiving system for the Public Records and Archives Administration Department (PRAAD). It says some facilities such as libraries are in a deplorable state, with discoloured and brittle national documents dating back to independence. The paper says for Ghana to fail to properly maintain its archiving institutions means the Country is on its way to losing key historical documents. To support its case, the Graphic cites how the PRAAD produced documents which helped Ghana to win the maritime dispute with Ivory Coast. It therefore concludes that support for PRAAD and all other institutions that keep national records must be prioritised and treated with urgency.

The Ghanaian Times welcomes the financial clearance granted by government for the recruitment of 145,000 unemployed youth. The paper is glad that efforts are being made to engage the youth in meaningful ventures. It notes government’s indication of restoring macroeconomic stability for the take-off of the economic development agenda. It therefore looks forward to increased employment opportunities.

The Daily Heritage is of the view that corrupting is gaining grounds in Ghana. The paper says it agrees with the recent assertion by psychologists that people are becoming greedy and corrupt hence the upsurge in corruption cases. The Daily Heritage says the issue of corruption can be tackled by avoiding cronyism and by utilising pragmatic measures that are all encompassing and biting.
