The Chief Observer of the European Union Election Observation Mission to Ghana, Javier Nart has rated the special voting exercise held ahead of the December 7 elections as successful with a voter turn-out of 89 percent saying it was incident free and peaceful.
Mr. Nart who is leading a core team of nine to observe the December 7 elections in Ghana was optimistic the outcome of the Democratic process will be wholly free and fair.
As part of their mission, the team made a stop at the Takoradi Office of the Electoral Commission.
