The people of Bonuama in the Wassa Amenfi central municipality of the Western Region will no longer walk a long distance to access quality health care delivery.
This is because, a philanthropist who hails from the community and doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Kasapreko Company Limited, Mr. Kwabena Adjie has handed over an ultra modern polyclinic worth two million Ghana cedis to the Municipal Health Directorate.
Bonuama is a farming community and a cocoa and rubber growing area in the Wassa Amenfi central municipality of the Western Region.
The community has suffered in accessing quality health care delivery in the area.
The Ultra modern Poly Clinic which has put smiles on the faces of the chiefs and people of Bonuama is to promote quality health care delivery in the area.
The clinic which started two years ago, was a vision of the Chief Executive Officer of Kasapreko company Limited to end the struggling of accessing quality health care delivery through his Philanthropically work.
It also forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility towards the the community.
At the ceremony to hand over the Ultramodern Poly Clinic and a Nissan frontier pick up to the Municipal Health Directorate, the Omanhene of Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area, Tetrete Okwamoah Skyrim commended the Chief Executive Officer of Kasapreko Company Limited for supporting government to improve the quality health care delivery and mentioned the need for the people to adopt maintenance culture.
The Chief Executive Officer of Kasapreko Company Limited, Mr Richard Adjie said since government is concerned about the health of the people of the country, the company also decided to contribute its quota to the health needs of the people.
The Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah said health of the people is the wealth of the people of the nation.
He said government will continue to welcome and work with private sector to improve the quality of health care delivery in the country.
He asked Ghanaians to work massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to continue its developmental projects.
Some of the people in the area express their joy and commended the company for coming to their aid.
The Ultramodern Polyclinic has three Doctors Consulting Room, OPD, Emergency ward, Delivery suit, officers hall, record department, National Health Insurance department and conference room, with Auxiliary Nursing department.
