Use the Christmas spirit to promote peace and unity – Vice President Bawumia

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Hajia Samira Bawumia today (December, 25), joined the Victory Bible Church in worship as Christians all over the world celebrated Christmas.

The Vice President in a brief remark said the birth of Jesus Christ signifies peace and this enjoins all to live in peace and harmony.

He said the enviable peace that the country continues to enjoy cannot be sacrificed.

Vice President Bawumia and his wife, clad in white, were accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, the MP elect for Ablekuma North, Shiela Bartels and the falter Kwamina Bartels among other dignitaries.

The Vice President in his message stressed the need for all to protect the peace in the country.

He said Ghana over the years has been touted as a beacon of democracy in the Sub region for its successive peaceful elections.

Presiding Bishop of the Victory Bible Church International, Bishop N. A Tackie-Yarboi, in a sermon said the birth of Jesus Christ signifies peace, therefore it is important for all to have goodwill towards one another.

The church prayed for peace in the country.
