The people of Anlo-Afiadeyigba in the Volta Region and its surrounding villages are living in fear following an increased armed robbery in the town.
On the 8th of last month, a group of armed robbers numbering about 10 attacked the MP for Keta, Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey and members of his household and made away with about 50,000 Cedis, mobile phones and laptops.
Last Sunday dawn, armed robbers again attacked a gas filing station at Satsimadza near Anlo-Afiadenyigba.
Armed robbers numbering about eight attacked the residence of the Moderator of the Southern Presbytery of the E.P Church, Rev Kafui Denro at Atiteti also near Anlo-Afiadenyigba and made away with an undisclosed amount of money.
