Today marks exactly two years since investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein Suale was shot dead while driving home.

Suale, who was a member of Tiger Eye Private Investigations, had investigated corruption in Ghana’s football leagues which led to a ban on then GFA President Kwasi Nyantakyi. The unidentified men on motorbikes shot Suale three times around Madina.

Two years after the unfortunate incident, no one has been prosecuted for the crime despite promises by President Akufo-Addo that the perpetrators will be brought to book. Six people were earlier arrested but released on bail.

Media organizations such as the Ghana Journalists Association and Media Foundation for West Africa want the police to get the perpetrators arrested immediately.
