Minister Nominee for Defense, Dominic Nitiwul, has reiterated the need for personnel of the Armed Forces to be based within the military barracks and not in rented apartments.
This, according to him, will help improve discipline within the ranks and improve the image of the military among the public.
Mr. Nitiwul reiterated calls by Minister Nominee for National Security for the prioritisation of resource allocation to the security agencies to enable them to tackle emerging security threats such as cyber-crime.
He said this on Thursday, February 11, when he appeared before the appointment committee.
