A former Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Badu Sarkodie, says there is adequate preparedness to handle the Ebola disease should there be any outbreak in the country following reported cases in some neighbouring countries.
Dr. Sarkodie said the National Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan has been updated on how to handle the disease.
He told GBC’s William Owusu Boateng that the challenges and lessons learnt from the Coronavirus pandemic offer the opportunity for effective handling of Ebola.
