President Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed gratitude to Parliament for approving his ministerial nominees.
Delivering his first State of the Nation address of his second term on Tuesday, March 9, President Akufo-Addo said the expectation and manner in which the Ministers were scrutinized by the Appointments Committee and their approval by the full house, was an indication of the collective determination by both sides of the
house.
He, therefore, urged the ministers to work together for the good of the country.
28 out of 30 nominees have already been sworn into office by President Akufo-Addo for the various ministerial portfolios.
Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta is yet to be vetted due to complications from COVID-19.
