Parliament to consider petitions by two entrepreneurs over revocation of their banking licenses

Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has directed the House to form a seven-member committee to look into a petition filed by former Chief Executive of UT Bank, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, and the founder of UniBank, Dr. Kwabena Duffour.

The petition is for Parliament to investigate Bank of Ghana’s revocation of their Banking licenses and other related matters.

The Petition was laid on their behalf by MP for Bawku Central Mahama Ayariga.
