Residents of Gblede and Gborgame near Mountain Afadza in the Hohoe District of the Volta Region, have appealed to government to rehabilitate a 15 kilometre road in the area which is in a deplorable state due to heavy rains.
Spokesperson for the residents, Francis Agbenyo said Fodome-Ahor and Liati-Agbonya are completely cut off as a result of heavy rains and the entire 15 kilometre road is now unmotorable.
Mr. Agbenyo said a number of letters have been written to the Sector Ministry but nothing has been done to change the situation.
He told GBC’s George Ankrah that the development is taking a toll on tourism in the community.
