All is set for the second phase of the Covid vaccination on Wednesday, May 19.
This phase targets those who took the first dose.
Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kumah Aboagye, at a media briefing in Accra said all logistics including vaccine devices have been distributed to designated centres.
He added that this second phase which will be done in all 43 designated districts will cover 360,000 people.
Dr. Kumah Aboagye cautioned that this phase is strictly for those who took the first jab.
So far 852,047 people have been vaccinated with the largest population from Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions.
Dr Patrick Kumah Aboagye said SMS will be sent to those who are due for vaccination.
