The Agbozume Branch of the Ghana Library Authority on Wednesday 19 May 2021, took delivery of about two thousand (2,000) assorted books from Ciceyaa Foundation, a Kumasi based NGO.
The Ceciyaa Foundation is a non-profit organization which was formed in order to meet the need for basic food, clothing, and healthcare services among the poor and the disadvantaged women and children of Ghana.
Ceciyaa is a multi-service community organization that fulfills its mission through dynamic programming that is responsive to the needs of the diverse communities it seeks to serve.
The librarian, Elikplim Kulewoshie who received the books on behalf of the Ghana Library Authority was grateful to the foundation and thanked the MP for her kind gesture and added that she has been helping the library for some time now and urged other benevolent citizens to make the Agbozume Library the best.
He revealed that “the transportation of the books from Kumasi to Agbozume was made possible by the Hon. Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Abla Dzifa Gomashie.
The Librarian also appreciated the MCE, Elliot Agbenorwu, the Anlo Youth Council through c/supt Dr Dinam Zoiku, Mr Francis Aduoffei of CICEYAA Foundation, Mr Dela Amedume, the Keta Librarian, and Mr. Christopher Anku who facilitated the process.
