An Economist at the University of Ghana Business School, Professor Godfred Bokpin has urged government and other stake holders to review measures in the digitization plan to include more students at the tertiary level.

The move he said will create more job opportunities for the youth in the digitization agenda.

Government has been employing the application of digital technology to stimulate and transform the economy.

Speaking at a Business forum, Professor Bokpin said although government has increased efforts to digitize the economy, it is yet to reflect on the job market.

Professor Bokpin said government is likely to witness a significant increase in employment rate when more digitization contribution is done at the tertiary level of education.
