VGMA22: Kofi Kinaata wins Songwriter Of The Year for the 4th time

Highlife and Hiplife musician Martin King Arthur, popularly known as Kofi Kinaata, has won for a fourth time Song Writer of the Year award at the ongoing Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 22.

Upon winning his fourth award this year, he started winning the category in 2016 and 2017 but lost in 2018 and 2019 to the late Ebony and King Promise respectively which he came back in action last year when he picked his third win with “Things Fall Apart”.

Kinaata secured his fourth win by beating Diana Hamilton, Adina, Joe Mettle, Abiana, Epixode who were nominated for the same category.

Also, 12 artists who won their categories went home with their awards.

The two day award show will be climaxed today June 26, 2021 where most anticipated categories winners will be announced which includes;

“Artiste of the Year”, “Popular Song of the Year”, “Best Rap Performance”, “Hip-Hop/Hiplife Song of the Year”, “Gospel Artiste of the Year”, “Highlife Artiste of the Year” and “Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year”.
