The Daily Graphic writes on the need for the world to continue prioritizing the elimination of hepatitis. The paper believes that nearly 4 million Ghanaians are living with either hepatitis B or C which leads to liver cancer. The Daily Graphic pledges its support to the development of an active policy backed by government to successfully eliminate the disease. It says only rigorous and strategic national response to the epidemic can make eliminating Hepatitis a reality.

The Ghanaian Times is happy that the Akufo-Addo led administration has agreed to compensate the victims of the 2019 Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election. It acknowledges that the payment process is likely to follow some bureaucratic demands, but appeals to government to eliminate all bottlenecks that may delay the process. The paper adds that this will not only reduce the joy of the victims, but also the value of the amounts to be paid them. The Times also appeals to security personnel and others who wield state power to use it responsibly, so they do not make the state to incur avoidable expenses.
