Following the rescheduling of the Physics and Business Management papers in the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination – WASSCE, the West African Examinations Council, has released new dates for the writing of the two papers.
The rescheduled date for Physics 1 & 2 is now Friday, October 1, 2021 from 08:30 AM to 11:15 AM.
While that for the Business Management Papers 1&2 would be on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 1 PM to 4 PM.
A statement by the Head of Test Administration Division of WAEC, George Ohene Mantey, asked all Heads of Schools to take note of the new dates and inform their candidates accordingly.
Examination leakage Mastermind in Police grip
Meanwhile, Security Operatives of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) have picked up one Godfred Darko alias Mr. Phresh, who is linked to websites purporting to leak question papers in the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

ccording to a source at WAEC, the Security Operatives are on the heels of other members of the Jerusalema rogue platform.
The source named those being pursued by the Security Operatives as Marcus, Gyimah Motive, Marshal and Sir Eben.
The source told Graphic Online that the WAEC Security in collaboration with the National Security have been deployed throughout the country to fish out those involved in those unpatriotic acts.
Eduwatch welcomes arrest, wants further probe
Think Tank, Africa Education Watch, Eduwatch has welcomed news of the arrest of the alleged dealer in WASSCE Examination leakages at Kasoa in the Central Region.
Speaking to GBC News, the Executive Director of Eduwatch, Kofi Asare said the Police must do all it can to arrest other members of the syndicate in order to end the cycle of WAEC examinations leakages.
“There needs to be more investigation and more arrests made, to get those behind this. I hope they track down the rest, they need to drill down and get much deeper and arrest all those behind this’’, he said.
