The Ghana Football Association (GFA), has chosen the Accra sports stadium to host Ghana’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria.
Back from competing in Aisha Buhari’s 6 Nations Cup Competition where the Queens lost one and won one, they will have to focus their attention on the game against the Super Falcons.
Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football has appointed Zomadre Sonia Kore from Cote D’Ivoire as the centre referee for the cliffhanger.
Sonia kore will be assisted by compatriots Kossonoux Denise Akoua (Assistant1), Ndeko Edwige Appia (Assistant 2), and Zongbossi Beatrice Beatrice Gouchoedou from Benin (Fourth official).
Latre-Kayi Edzona Lawson Hogban from Togo will be the Match Commissioner whilst Ghana’s Christiana Baah works as Covid-19 officer.
The game will be played at 16:00Hrs kick-off at the Accra sports stadium. The winner of the two legs will qualify for the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The 2nd leg encounter will come off on Sunday, October 24th, 2021.
