Djibouti came into the game on a losing note after a 4-2 defeat to Niger. Djibouti Coach, Julien Mette has prepared his charges as they look forward to grabbing their first victory at home against Burkina Faso.
Currently Djibouti are at the bottom of the table in group A with no point after 2 matches.
The Stallions of Burkina Faso will make sure that they get the maximum 3 points to secure a firm position in the World Cup Qualifying Series.
Their last match saw them squaring it off in a 1-1 stalemate against Algeria. This is the first time Burkina Faso will be meeting Djibouti in a World Cup qualifier.
The Stallions started their Group A campaign with a convincing 2-0 away win over Niger with Lassana Traore and Mohamed Konate scoring the 2 goals before getting the draw against Algeria.
The Stallions have managed to get three goals out of two matches. So far, they have won one and have drawn one as well. Burkina Faso are second in the Group with four points.
Djibouti in their last five matches have just won one match and lost four.
The stakes look so high for the Burkina Faso side ahead of the 3rd round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Meanwhile, the home side will be yearning for points after a poor start in the qualifiers.
