The Kaneshie District Court has for the second time been informed that the MP for Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu is still not back from the United States of America. A response from the Deputy Clerk of Parliament, Eric Owusu Mensah to the Court dated November 10, 2021, made it clear that he is in the US on Parliamentary duties.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Sylvester Asare told the Court that they have no indication if the MP is in the country. It was at this point that, a portion of the content of the said letter was read in Court by the Magistrate Kofi Oheneba-Kuffour. Counsel for Lawyer Sosu, Victor Kwadjoga Adawudu, said he has had interaction with his client and he will be back in the country by next week.

The court subsequently adjourned sitting to 29 November 2021.
