The Association of Magistrates and Judges of Ghana (AMJG) has described as malicious and unfounded, reports in the media suggesting that Supreme Court Judge, Justice Clemence Honyenuga has been presented with vehicles by President Akufo-Addo to jail former COCOBOD Chief Executive Dr. Stephen Kwabena Opuni and one other.

Justice Honyenuga has been given two service vehicles by the Judicial Service as duty post vehicles.

However, the cars are being said to be vehicles from the Presidency to motivate Justice Honyenuga to jail Dr. Opuni and Seidu Agongo who are standing trial before him.

Reacting to the reports in the Media, at a press briefing in Accra, President of the AMJG Justice Henry Anthony Kwoffie said ”it is a deliberate attempt to cause disaffection to the judge and the Judiciary”.
