President Akufo-Addo has taken a swipe at people concocting stories which he describes as conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 Vaccines. He said the Vaccines are not intended to harm anyone or change one’s political affiliation or preference as claimed by some people.
Delivering his 27th Address on measures taken to fight against Covid-19, President Akufo-Addo noted that the Vaccines are safe and will protect everyone.
The President emphasized the need for all to get Vaccinated. He stressed that getting the jab is one of the best ways of avoiding the pandemic as it reduces the risk of death and hospitalization.
The President’s call for all Ghanaians to get Vaccinated comes on the back of the Ghana Health Service declaring December as Vaccination Month.
”Whilst the government does its part to secure the necessary numbers of vaccines to help vaccinate all Ghanaians, we cannot afford to disregard the social distancing, hand washing, mask wearing and enhanced hygiene protocols that have brought us this far. They must continue to be a part and parcel of our daily lives and routines”.
“Getting the jab is the best route out of the pandemic, because, according to WHO, it reduces the risk of death, hospitalization and the spread of the virus. It is for this reason that we have committed ourselves to vaccinating some 20 million Ghanaians, that is the entire adult population, by the end of the year”.

We are having a pandemic in Ghana? Since when? I have not realised that yet. Wow. Why didn’t tell me anyone. How many did we lost the last 18 month on Malaria and Thypus? Very strange, that we are not talking about this as well.
Seems this sicknesses are not profitable.
