The Ghana Police Service says there will be Police Patrols tonight, December 31, 2021 in Communities across the country. This is to curb criminal activities that go on during the 31st All Night Services.

In an interview with GBC News, Staff Officer at the Police Public Affairs Unit, ASP Richmond Mensah, said the patrols will be done simultaneously in Greater Accra, Ashanti and Northern Regions.

ASP Mensah also cautioned people who use firecrackers. He reminded them  that , ”the ban is still in force, ban on fire firecrackers”.

Touching on Police and prophecies, ASP Richmond Mensah, said the Police is not against Church freedoms, but will not allow acts that stand to breach the peace and civility of citizens.

Also, Churches would be required to observe all safety and Covid-19 protocols.
