Ghana’s only 24-hour sports channel GTV Sports+ will telecast the CAF Champions League and Confederation cup live in High Definition. The Group stage of the most prominent club football kick starts Friday 11th February 2021 at 4pm.
The Champions League which features 16 teams have been grouped in four groups of four. Group A features defending champions Al Ahly of Egypt, South Africa’s giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Sudanese duo Al Hilal and Al Merrikh.
Defending Confederation cup champions Raja Casablanca will compete against Horoya AC of Guinea, ES Setif of Algeria and Amazulu FC of South Africa.
Group C features Tunisian ES Tunis, E.S.S, CR Belouizdad of Algeria and Jwaneng Galaxy FC of Botswana.
Group D comprises of Wydad AC of Morocco, Zamalek SC, Atletico Petroleos and GD Sagrada Esperance.
Likewise, the Confederation cup consist of 16 teams in four groups.
Group A: Pyramids, CS Sfaxien, Zanaco FC and Trolipoli.
Group B: JSK/ R Leopards, Orlando Pirates, JS Saoura and Al Ittihad.
Group C TP Mazembe, Cotton Sport FC, Al Masry and AS Otoho.
Group D: RS Berkane, Simba SC, Asec Mimosa and USGN.
