Chairman of the National Media Commission Mr. Yaw Boadu Ayeboafoh has advised Ghanaians to come together as one to learn the various Ghanaian languages for easy and better communication.

He said this during the official launch of GBC’s Heritage month at the forecourt of the State Broadcaster.

According to Mr. Yaw Boafo, every Ghanaian should be proud of who and what he/she is.

“I want to encourage everyone of us to be proud of who we are and what we are. It is time we come together as Ghanaians to learn each other’s language so that we can communicate to ourselves better than in English”, he said.

”The question about heritage is not just about what we eat, drink, or wear, but rather it’s about the way we think about ourselves. And anytime we demean ourselves to other people, we undermine the country’s heritage.”

He, therefore, emphasized on the need for every Ghanaian to applaud and appreciate each other because if we fail to recognize who we are, nobody will.
