President Akufo-Addo has expressed his determination to complete the agenda 111 project before his term ends as President of the Republic.
He said preparatory work on the projects have completed and was hopeful construction would begin soon.
Speaking at the 60th Anniversary of the University of Ghana Medical School, President Akufo-Addo noted the ”project will improve access to healthcare in Ghana”.
Agenda 111
The Agenda 111 is a flagship programme of the government that will see the construction of district hospitals in districts with no hospitals and rehabilitation of existing ones.
It is estimated to cost $1.7billion.
