Ghana’s Men Football Team, the Black Stars will come face to face with Portugal in their first group stages match at the FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar.
Both sides met in 2014, with the Europeans winning 2-1 thanks to a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Stars will also face Uruguay in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which seems to be a repeat of the 2010 quarterfinals in South Africa.
After that agony of 2010, the Black Stars will seek revenge against the South Americans.
A missed and golden opportunity (penalty) by Asamoah Gyan sent the Stars to the quarter-finals.
The resulting penalty was after Luis Suarez had handled a goal-bound ball and denied Ghana a winning goal in extra time.
Uruguay in that match defeated the Black Stars in a dramatic last-eight match in South Africa.
Ghana and South Korea have never met in a World Cup; however, they did play a friendly match before the 2014 World Cup. Jordan Ayew scored a hat-trick as Black Stars won 4-0.
