President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has admitted the Blackstars team had it very challenging during the recent AFCON

“Yes, we had a very challenging outing at the AFCON, to be honest. Things didn’t go the way we expected.”

He added that “having gone through that, it was obvious that we needed to look at ourselves internally. Look at what went on and take the right decisions.

I think that as a team, as a unit, as a family we did. The results are that the BlackStars look like they’re coming back alive. To be honest, we should celebrate.”

The GFA President said Ghanaians love football in the country, adding that, “we tend to believe that individuals, everybody has a contribution to make in our attempt to be victors. So, people will come up with ideas”.
