President Akufo-Addo mourns Former Kenyan Leader Mwai Kibaki

President Akufo-Addo has expressed his deepest Condolence and sympathy to the people of Kenya over the death of former President Mwai Kibaki.

Signing the Book of Condolence at the Kenyan Embassy in Accra, the President said Mr kibaki gave his life to Public Service of his people and country.

Mr Mwai Kibaki died April 21, 22 at age 90.

During Mwai Kibaki’s Administration, Kenya gained a new Constitution after it was overwhelmingly approved in a National Referendum in 2010.

He is survived by four children.

President said his death “is a sad day for Africa”.

President Akufo-Addo was welcomed at the Kenyan Embassy by its Ambassador Eliphas Barine.

He thanked the President for taking time out of his busy schedule to sign the Book of Condolence.
